History

I have been a baseball card collector since 1978. My mother thought that I was making a mess of the living room with my packs that I bought every week when she went grocery shopping. She asked me if I couldn't just, "call the company and order all the cards?"

That started a long relationship with Larry Fritsch cards in Wausau, Wisconsin, he was one of the first national sportscard dealers in the country. That started a passion that has extended to this day, where I have completed a Topps Baseball collection that spans from 1952 to the present, and am continually looking to complete the 1952 high numbers. I also have Topps Football sets from 1956 to the present, Topps Hockey sets from 1969 to the present, Topps Basketball sets 1969 to present, as well as every Upper Deck base set ever made up to 2010. I have also gotten the Kelloggs Baseball sets from 1970-1983, as well as the Hostess Baseball sets from 1975-79.

I have been a Detroit fan my whole life, and have also collected autographed 8X10's of Detroit players who have won World Championships. I have nearly all of the 1968 Tigers (need Ray Oyler), 1984 Tigers the 1989-90 Pistons, 2004 Pistons, 1997-98 Red Wings, 2002 Red Wings, and 2008 Red Wings.

I have also been collecting Detroit Tiger team signed baseballs, and have a 1941, 50, 51, 60, 62, 63, 69, 72, 75, 77, 79, 84, 86, 90, 94, 95, 97 and 2005.

I have every Topps and Upper Deck Detroit regular issue card ever made, as well as the Donruss, Fleer, Score, Bowman, and Post. I also have an extensive Al Kaline collection, as well as Starting Lineup and McFarlane figures for all of the Detroit teams.
